Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision, abortion has become one of the most contentious public issues in American life.  Unfortunately the news media tends to focus on controversy, so many have understandably developed the impression that abortion is principally about divisive politics.

In 1979, the Right to Life Educational Foundation of Kentucky was incorporated as a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt foundation.  Its focus is purely on the educational aspects of the humanity of the unborn child and the right to life.    By educating the public with universally accepted factual information about the conception and development of the human being and the intrinsic value of each human life, we are able to inform the public and engage in constructive dialogue that truly advances respect for all human life.

There are many issues which threaten the dignity of human life – abortion, war, poverty, poor access to health insurance, to name just a few.  But throughout the course of decades with few resources, the Foundaiton has developed expertise in speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves in the areas of abortion, euthanasia, and embryonic stem cell research and human cloning.

The Foundation uses a variety of communications media to reach the public and community leaders including television, radio, print media, on-line social networking, blogs, and in-person speaking venues at highschools, colleges, panel discussions and town-hall forums.
